These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of BandWonder (the “Service”), operated at bandwonder.com. By creating an account, making a payment, or using the Service, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy and Refund & Cancellation Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.
BandWonder provides AI-driven mock tests for the IELTS Speaking exam: a simulated examiner conducts a three-part speaking test and produces an estimated band score with detailed feedback, based on the publicly available IELTS band descriptors.
BandWonder is an independent practice tool. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to the British Council, IDP Education, Cambridge University Press & Assessment, or any official IELTS organisation. “IELTS” is a trademark of its respective owners, used here only to describe the exam our practice tests simulate. Band estimates are indicative practice feedback only: they are not official scores and do not predict or guarantee any result in the official examination.
You must provide a valid email address, verify it, and keep your login credentials confidential. You are responsible for all activity under your account. One account per person; accounts are personal and non-transferable. If you are under 18, you may use the Service only with the consent of a parent or guardian.
A paid test credit entitles you to one complete, scored, three-part mock test. Credits work as follows:
Prices are shown at checkout in Indian Rupees (currently ₹149 per test, an introductory price that may change; a price change never affects credits you have already purchased). Payments are processed by Razorpay; we never see or store your card, UPI, or banking details. You agree to provide accurate payment information and to use payment methods you are authorised to use.
Refunds are governed by our Refund & Cancellation Policy, which forms part of these Terms. In summary: unused credits are refundable within 7 days on request; verified technical failures restore your credit automatically; completed tests are non-refundable. If you believe a charge is wrong, please contact us before raising a chargeback — we resolve genuine issues quickly.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these rules. Where a violation involves abuse of payments (for example fraudulent chargebacks), associated credits may be cancelled.
Examiner questions, feedback, improvement tips, and example answers are generated by artificial intelligence. They are provided for practice and learning. AI output can occasionally be imperfect or inaccurate; it is not professional, legal, or educational advice, and should not be your sole basis for exam or immigration decisions.
Your spoken responses and their transcripts remain yours. You grant us the limited licence needed to process them — transcription, scoring, feedback generation, and showing you your own reports — as described in the Privacy Policy. All other Service content, software, design, and branding are owned by BandWonder or its licensors and may not be reused without permission.
We aim for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted operation. The Service depends on third-party providers (speech recognition, language models, payments, email) and on your device, microphone, and internet connection. We may add, change, or remove features. If we ever discontinue the Service entirely, unused paid credits will be refunded.
The Service is provided “as is” and “as available”. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim implied warranties and are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential losses, or for outcomes of decisions made based on practice estimates. Our total aggregate liability for any claim relating to the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 30 days preceding the event giving rise to the claim.
Nothing in these Terms limits rights you hold under applicable consumer protection law that cannot be limited by agreement.
We may update these Terms from time to time. The “Last updated” date above reflects the current version; material changes will be notified in the Service. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Subject to any mandatory consumer-law provisions, disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts in India.
